Color Combos Galore Challenge CCG237 - This Is Living http://colorcombosgalore.ning.com/forum/topics/color-combo-challenge-237

There is a new challenge over at Color Combos Galore and the colours are my favourites.  Head on over to try the challenge and see what all the designers have created.  Some amazing work this week, as always.

This week is Designer's Choice with Design Team Member Jinny Newlin. Her two color choices were turquoise and  raspberry.  Janet added the other colors.

I picked a photo of all the puppies sleeping right after a feeding.  From left to right is Willow, big boy Pudge, Skye and then Abbey.   Savannah’s back leg is wrapped around Pudge.  You can really see the different colours of the pups in this picture.

For my inspiration:
Photo 1 - Die Cutting - took inspiration in the large raspberry flower and the cluster of flowers around it, the pink wooden plank paper with the border punch around the edges
Photo 2 - Mixed Fonts - 4 different types of fonts, inspiration from the glass in the crystal border and the glass centre on the large flower as well as the centre of the turquoise flowers and the clear tinted acrylic flourishes.
Photo 3 - Stamped Backgrounds - 5 layers of papers.
Photo 4 - Butterflies - a single bird on the bird house dangling from the tree branch, and a butterfly.

Supply List
Lily bee design - Victoria Park Wortley village and Richmond Row
Cratepaper - Random Collection - Curtains
Misc die cut and mat, bling, flowers, butterfly from my stash
MS around the page border punch
Clear acrylic flourishes inked with Tim Holtz Alcohol inks Lettuce and Citrus
Tim Holtz ticket
Pink Paisley Spring Jubilee Rub-ons
Colorbox Raspberry ink
Handmade flowers stamped with MME Miss Caroline Howdy Doody "Baby" stamps

Thanks for looking and I hope you'll give it a try.  Have a wonderful weekend.
